The Mission Bay Parcel One property was designated as a prominent open space in the entire San Francisco Mission Bay Development. This public park was developed with the San Francisco Redevelopment Agency to create an open space primarily used by the adjacent residence. The entire development consists of a concession building and an outdoor amphitheater. With the inputs from the landscape architect, the design of park becomes one of the few natural and organic elements in the entire neighborhood. The primary material and system of the concession building includes concrete masonry block, composite metal panels, aluminum window storefront system. Due to the position of the concession building relative to the entire park, the roof was designed and kept to its lowest to screen all the rooftop units. This project was executed with Tom Eliot Fisch and EDAW. |
